These earrings have a very striking purple banded agate at the bottom of each stack, the stone being dark purple in some areas and almost white in others. These stones are dyed to enhance their colours and this is just how the dye has been absorbed by these particular stones.

The wire-wrapped stacks comprise the large faceted Purple Banded Agate at the bottom, then a Sterling Silver spacer, a Rainbow Moonstone faceted rondelle in the centre, another Sterling Silver spacer and finally a round faceted Amethyst at the top. There is a Sterling Silver flower shaped bead cap above the Amethyst and below the Agate, and the stacks are suspended from Sterling Silver ear hooks with coil and bead trim.
