A stunning combination of amethyst, purple banded agate and moonstone with sterling silver accents, this necklace is sure to become a firm favourite.
I’ve brought together multi-faceted amethyst rounds, faceted moonstone rondelles and faceted purple banded agate rounds to create this pretty one of a kind necklace. The stones are interspersed with sterling silver flat spacers. The amethysts are 4mm diameter, the moonstone rondelles are 4mm x 6mm and the purple banded agate stones are 8mm diameter. The facets give the stones some nice sparkle as they catch the light. The amethysts are in varying shades from mid lilac to darker purple. The central purple banded agate stone has a nice colour split, being pale purple/lilac on one half and a very dark purple on the other half. Some of the moonstones display lovely flashes of blue when they catch the light.
Please note that the moonstones and amethysts display small inclusions in a few of the stones, which is to be expected from natural gemstones and does not detract from their value or beauty. The agates are natural gemstones which have been dyed.
The necklace length is approximately 17 inches (43cm), with an additional 2-inch extension chain made from hammered cable chain that provides an extra bit of sparkle. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp, which is stamped 925 on the catch.
Amethyst is the birthstone for February birthdays and Moonstone is for June birthdays, so this would make a great birthday gift, or a nice treat for yourself.
